Replacement parts for jalousie and louver windows are not always available and it is illegal to install these types of windows since they do not meet egress code.

WDM Construction only installs aluminum and vinyl windows which are guaranteed to last, unlike a wood window. Another advantage of replacing your existing windows with aluminum or vinyl windows is that they are maintenance free as well as more secure. These replacement windows can also offer noise reduction if your home is located near an airport or busy road.

Although replacement windows are available in aluminum and vinyl, WDM Construction highly recommends that our customers select a vinyl window especially for home resale reasons. Aluminum windows are not as energy efficient because they do not offer a thermal break. In the near future it is likely laws will regulate, if not eliminate, the purchase of aluminum as an option for windows.

Factory tinted windows work well on front windows but can be too dark for covered lanai.
